Generate Report writes a dated AI portfolio report from a snapshot of your data, in six sections: an introduction, Market Trends & Insights, Portfolio Strengths, Portfolio Weaknesses, Recommendations & Next Steps, and Changes. A language model writes each one. It's told to use only your data and the app's stored news, to cite each news item's source and date, and to write “Insufficient data” rather than guess.

Read each section against the screen it came from, on the day the report is dated — its as-of date. Strengths and weaknesses should match your Portfolio Health measures and a Pie Chart of your stock portfolio by holding and sector; trends should name their sources. Recommendations & Next Steps and Changes are written from data about your holdings, not from your cash, other assets, tax wrappers or plans, which the report is never given — that's its main limitation. Treat them as questions to check, not instructions.
