GLOSSARY

Total Dividends

Portfolio Metrics

IN PLAIN ENGLISH

Every dividend you've logged, added up since you started. Unlike Annual Dividend this looks backwards at money actually received, and it includes payments from holdings you've since sold.

FULL DEFINITION

The cumulative sum of all dividend payments recorded against your holdings.

EXAMPLE

You've logged 12 payments totalling £780. Total Dividends = £780.

HOW IT'S CALCULATED

Sums the `dividend` amount of every recorded dividend entry across all holdings, converting each from the holding's currency into your portfolio currency. Entries without a numeric amount are skipped.
