The Learning Hub is now twelve themes and twelve playbooks

From what a share is to how your own behaviour affects your returns — 124 lessons in all, plus step-by-step playbooks that work with your real numbers.

The Learning Hub started with a handful of lessons on dividends. It now covers the whole path in twelve themes: foundations, dividends, dividend durability, reading a company, funds and trackers, assets beyond shares, the speculative end of the market, building a portfolio, risk, measuring performance, UK costs and tax, and behaviour.

The Learning Hub explains how things work and how they can go wrong. It doesn't tell you what to buy, or how much of anything to hold.

Playbooks

Twelve short workflows for things you'd actually do in the app — add your first holdings, import a CSV, set up a dividend calendar, read your portfolio health score, run a screen, do a monthly review, fix a cost basis after a split, chase a dividend that didn't appear. Each has a checklist and a small interactive tool.

Figures that expire are dated

Tax allowances, ISA limits and compensation-scheme caps change, so the UK costs and tax lessons say when their figures were last checked. Where a lesson depends on a rule that's likely to move, it says so instead of implying it's permanent.

Research comes with its source

Lessons that lean on academic findings on behaviour and dividends cite the paper on screen, and describe each effect with the setting and size the study found rather than as a law of nature. Where researchers disagree, as they do about how much investors lose to poor timing, the lesson shows both sides.

Wording that matches the app

The Learning Hub was checked against the app as it stands. Several descriptions were corrected along the way, including that the Return figure is a price return without dividends, and that the app doesn't compare your portfolio with an index.
